A mother and a passionate baker, Sarita Banerjee has bakes that are fresh, colourful, and bursting with flavour. Her philosophy is to 'delight the senses'. If it doesn't look good, taste good and smell good, it's not on the menu! She loves her work whether it's baking scrumptious cakes, whipping up a batch of cookies or making melt-in-the-mouth chocolates, she simply pours herself into all her creations.

Through Black & Tan, Sarita has a close focus on taste, quality, purity and love in each and every creation. Only the very best, locally sourced ingredients go into the products, and she believes in baking from scratch - no shortcuts! She favours natural ingredients and no preservatives. You can taste quality and goodness in everything from Black & Tan. The proof, as they say, is literally in the pudding.
